10! That’s how many stars I would give Joel B if I could! He was recommended to us over 14 years ago and is the absolute best among many good guides we have fished with. Joel knows where the fish hang out and can row us right up to them. His float trips are so exciting, and he is as thrilled as we are when we catch that wily giant trout. He is well educated, polite, honest, and generous with his knowledge. He is very well respected by other guides on the river. We actually plan our Colorado vacations around when he is available. I hope you get a chance to fish with him soon, but please don’t take our spot!

For 35 years of fishing with guides on the Eagle, Colorado, Arkansas and Williams Fork, l never fished with a better guide than Joel. I started fishing with Joel about 15 years ago and have not fished with another guide since then. We plan time at our condo around Joel’s availability. We have become great friends with Joel and his wife and daughter. Of all the guides I have fished with, he is the only one who ever jumped out of the boat with a net to keep me from losing a really nice fish that I fought for what seemed at the time like 30 minutes!
